Eligibility

The program is open to individuals and businesses who promote Beardesk through an audience of their own, whether a website, newsletter, social account, community, course or client practice. Participation begins upon acceptance of an application and is subject to these terms.

You must be at least eighteen years of age and capable of forming a binding contract.
You must provide accurate details on application and keep them current, including the details required in order to pay you.
You are responsible for any tax arising on commission you receive, and for any registration or reporting your own jurisdiction requires of you.
You may participate as an individual or through a business, but not as both, and you may hold only one affiliate account.
Beardesk may decline an application without giving reasons, and may end a participation in accordance with these terms.

Commission

You earn 20% of each payment made by a client you refer, for as long as your participation remains qualified. Commission is calculated on the amount actually received by Beardesk, net of taxes and of any refund or chargeback.

Commission is recurring. It is earned on the client’s first payment and on each renewal after it.
Commission applies to whichever plan the client subscribes to, and follows them if they move to a different plan.
Commission is earned only on payments actually collected. A trial that does not convert earns nothing, and neither does a subscription that is never paid for.
Where a payment is refunded or reversed by chargeback, the corresponding commission is reversed and deducted from your balance.
Commission is not payable on your own subscription, on a subscription taken by a business you control, or on one taken by a person acting on your behalf. Self-referral is not permitted and is grounds for ending participation.
Commission rates may be varied for future referrals. A variation takes effect when published on this page and does not affect commission already accrued.

Attribution

A person who arrives at Beardesk through your referral link is attributed to you for 60 days from the click. If they subscribe within that period the subscription is credited to you, whether they subscribe on that visit or on a later one.

Attribution requires that the person reaches Beardesk through your link. A recommendation that does not pass through it cannot be credited.
Where a person has clicked the links of more than one affiliate, the most recent click inside the window takes the credit.
Attribution depends on the person’s browser retaining the referral. A cleared browser, a different device or a privacy tool may prevent it, and Beardesk cannot credit a referral of which it has no record.
Where a client cancels and later returns, the original attribution does not revive unless they return through your link inside a new window.

Staying qualified

Participation requires continued activity. You must refer at least one new paying client every 60 days in order to remain qualified.

Where 60 days pass without a new referred client, your participation ceases to be qualified and all commission ends. That includes commission which would otherwise have continued on clients you referred previously. Any balance below the payout minimum at that point is forfeited.

The 60 days run from the date of your most recent qualifying referral, or from the date your application was accepted where you have not yet made one. This condition is stated plainly because it is the term most likely to affect you: the program is intended for people actively recommending Beardesk, not for accounts left to run in the background.

Where participation lapses in this way you may apply again, and if accepted you begin afresh. Referrals credited under a previous participation are not restored.

Payment

Commission is paid monthly, in arrears, once your balance reaches $50.
A balance below $50 carries forward to the following month, subject to the qualification condition above.
Commission becomes payable once the underlying payment is no longer liable to be refunded or charged back.
You are responsible for supplying valid payment details. Beardesk is not liable for a payment that fails, or reaches the wrong recipient, because the details you gave were wrong or out of date.
Any charge levied by an intermediary in transferring your commission is borne by you unless stated otherwise.
Where you dispute a commission calculation, raise it within 60 days of the statement in question so it can be investigated while the underlying records are current.

Promoting Beardesk

You may promote Beardesk through any audience of your own: a website, a newsletter, a social account, a community, a course, a video, or a client you are advising. You may describe what the product does, quote its published pricing, compare it with alternatives, and give your own honest opinion of it, including where it falls short.

Beardesk grants you a limited, revocable right to use its name and logo for that purpose, in their supplied form and without alteration. You may not modify the logo, imply a partnership beyond this program, or use the marks in a way suggesting Beardesk endorses anything else you sell. That right ends when your participation does.

What you must not do is mislead a person about what Beardesk is, what it costs or what it can do. Specifically, you must not do any of the following.

Making any claim about Beardesk that is untrue, or promising a result that Beardesk does not offer.
Describing yourself as Beardesk, as an employee or agent of Beardesk, or as authorized to speak on its behalf.
Bidding on the Beardesk name, or a close variation or misspelling of it, in paid search.
Registering a domain name, social account, application name or handle containing the Beardesk name or a close variation of it.
Promoting through unsolicited bulk email, or through any channel whose own rules forbid affiliate promotion.
Posting your link to coupon, deal, voucher or cashback sites.
Offering a rebate, discount or other inducement funded from your commission, unless agreed in writing beforehand.
Using automated traffic, incentivized clicks, or any other means of generating referrals that do not represent a genuine recommendation.
Attempting to attribute to yourself a client who did not arrive through your link.
Failing to disclose the relationship where the law or the platform requires it. Where you are paid to recommend something you must say so.

Ending participation

You may leave the program at any time. Commission accrued and payable up to that point is paid on the next payment run.
Beardesk may end your participation at any time and at its sole discretion, with or without notice and without being required to give a reason, including where you breach these terms, where a referral is found to be fraudulent or artificially generated, or where the qualification condition above is not met.
Where participation ends for breach or fraud, unpaid commission is forfeited and Beardesk may recover commission already paid on the referrals concerned.
Beardesk may vary these terms or withdraw the program. A variation takes effect when published on this page, and the date at the head of this page shows when it was last revised.
On ending, you must stop using the Beardesk name and logo and remove your referral links.

General

Participation creates no partnership, employment, agency or joint venture between you and Beardesk. You are an independent contractor and have no authority to bind Beardesk or to make any commitment on its behalf.

Beardesk makes no representation as to the volume of referrals, the level of commission or the income you may achieve. Nothing said about the program is a forecast of earnings.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Rajasthan, India have jurisdiction over any dispute. Where a provision is held unenforceable, the remainder continues in effect.
