Policy
Beardesk does not provide refunds in respect of subscription fees, whether in whole or in part, and whether or not the subscription has been used during the period to which the fee relates.
Each subscription commences with a free trial of seven days during which the full functionality of the Service is available. The trial is provided in order that the Service may be evaluated against your own requirements, with your own clients and on your own channels, before any payment becomes due. A valid payment method is required in order to commence the trial, and no charge is made where the subscription is canceled before the trial expires.
This policy forms part of the Terms of Service and is to be read together with them.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from within your account. No notice period applies, no reason need be given and no cancellation fee is payable.
- Where cancellation occurs before the expiry of the trial period, no charge is made.
- Where cancellation occurs after the trial period, access to the Service continues until the expiry of the subscription term for which payment has been made.
- No renewal occurs following cancellation, and no further payment becomes due.
- Where an annual subscription is canceled, access continues until the expiry of the annual term. No refund is made in respect of the unexpired portion of that term.
- Data should be exported before the expiry of the term. Data is deleted in accordance with the retention provisions of the Privacy Policy.
Billing errors
This policy governs refunds of fees properly charged. It does not apply to a charge made in error.
Where you have been charged more than once for the same subscription period, charged following a valid cancellation, or charged in respect of a subscription you did not purchase, Beardesk will investigate the matter and will procure the reversal of any charge found to have been made in error. No time limit applies to the correction of a billing error.
A claim under this section should be submitted to support@beardesk.ai, accompanied by the receipt or other evidence of the charge.
Seller of record
Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider which acts as merchant of record. That provider is the seller in respect of the transaction, and the contract of sale for the subscription is concluded between you and that provider.
The buyer terms of that provider apply to the transaction in addition to this policy, and the provider may exercise such discretion as those terms confer upon it. The receipt issued to you records the identity of the provider and the means by which it may be contacted.
Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or otherwise affects any right conferred upon you by law which may not lawfully be excluded, restricted or affected by agreement.
In particular, the law of certain jurisdictions confers upon consumers a right to withdraw from a contract concluded at a distance within a prescribed period, and confers remedies where a service supplied is not as described or is not of satisfactory quality. Where such a right or remedy applies to you, it applies notwithstanding any provision of this policy, and Beardesk will give effect to it.
Where you consider that such a right or remedy applies, you should write to support@beardesk.ai setting out the basis of your claim, and it will be considered on its merits.
